Is there any aesthetic consciousness involved in sexual lust?

I've always thought of sexual lust and aesthetic consciousness (being aware of the beauty of something) as two different things, but when people feel sexual lust for a female they know that her body is exquisite. So is there a connection between aesthetic consciousness and sexual lust?
