This is a poignant write. It is a short piece but it actually said a great deal to me. Can a cup cake be the best cake of the show? Not unless it is displayed in a protective case away from the children's prodding fingers. Only mature people would be able to appreciate the beauty without sticking their fingers in and wounding. Sad thing is there are also adults who can behave like children.
